Before you order
How to measure at home
Sending fabric from out of town? Take these five measurements with a soft tape,
over a well-fitting blouse — not over loose clothing — and send them on WhatsApp.
Keep the tape level all the way round and parallel to the floor — check the back in a mirror.
Breathe normally and don't pull tight. Round up to the nearest half inch.
If you're between sizes, give us both numbers and we'll decide at the fitting.
The narrowest part of your torso, usually about an inch above the navel. Bend sideways —
the crease that forms is your natural waist. This is different from where a saree
is tied, so tell us if you want the blouse fitted higher or lower.
Around the fullest part of the hips and seat, roughly 8 inches below the natural waist.
Stand with feet together. For lehengas we also need your waist-to-floor length,
measured in the footwear you'll actually wear on the day.
Shoulder: across the back from the tip of one shoulder bone to the other.
Sleeve: from the shoulder tip down the outside of a slightly bent arm to where you want it
to end. Standard short sleeve is 6″, elbow is 10″, three-quarter is 14″.
Blouse length: from the shoulder seam straight down the front to where you want the hem —
usually 14–15″. Armhole: right around the arm where it joins the shoulder, adding
about an inch for comfort. The easiest option is to courier us a blouse that already
fits you well — we'll copy it exactly and return it with your order.
In their words
What Hyderabad says about us
“My bridal blouse had heavy aari work, and I was scared it would tear. They added lining and support inside, and it stayed perfect for my 14-hour wedding.”

Questions we get every week
Anything not covered here, just ask on WhatsApp — Sabira usually replies the same day.
Yes — most of our work is stitched from the client's own fabric. Bring the material along with
lining if you have a preference. If you're short on fabric we'll tell you before cutting rather
than after. We can also source fabric, lining and can-can for you at cost.
For orders above ₹3,000 we offer free home measurement and pickup across Malakpet,
Dilsukhnagar, Santosh Nagar, Kothapet and Saidabad. Elsewhere in Hyderabad there's a small
travel charge. Bridal clients get home fittings as standard.
Simple alterations and saree falls can be same-day if dropped before noon. A basic blouse can be
done in 48 hours. Heavy-work and bridal pieces cannot be rushed safely — we'd rather refuse the
order than deliver something that pulls at the seams. Express orders carry a 30% charge.
Every order includes up to three fittings, and adjustments within 15 days of delivery are free.
If a garment can't be made to fit because of a measurement we took, we remake it at our cost.
Cash, UPI and bank transfer. For everyday stitching you pay on collection. For bridal and
occasion orders we take 40% at the time of cutting and the balance on delivery.
This is a women's studio, so no menswear. We do stitch for girls — langa voni, frocks and
festival sets — and for teenagers going to functions.
